Their influences are Dashiell Hammett, Jim Thompson, Charles Williams, John Mc Donald, Mickey Spillane, Fredric Brown, Charles Willeford, Jonathan Latimer, Gil Brewer, Raymond Chandler, John Houston, Fritz Lang, Robert Siodmak, Raoul Walsh…

The band is formed by Nicholas Corey (vocals, organ), JR Ewing (bass, electric piano, arranger) and Amanda Oxemberg (laptop, arranger).
